Mauritius is an island nation in the Indian Ocean about 1,100 nautical miles off the southeast coast of the African continent, east of Madagascar. This summer we gathered pastors, leaders and students to go through a training to launch discipleship groups and new churches, called MC2 (MC-squared) which stands for Multiplying Churches and Communities.
The training that Campus Crusade for Christ gives to the existing churches and to new believers equips them to quickly multiply their impact by starting new groups and churches. This tiny island nation may be unknown to you and I, but God is making His Gospel heard among the 1.3 million people. Just 62 days after our training with several churches and youth they were able to see 27 new churches and faith groups started on the island.
