In culmination of Jesus’ earthly ministry, he said “go and make disciples of all nations.” That mission, the Great Commission, has been the church’s calling for 2000 years. In the 1960s, Dr. Bill Bright, the founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, began signing his correspondences “Yours for the fulfillment of the Great Commission in this generation.”
Around the world, God is moving in extraordinary ways. We are seeing explosive growth and responsiveness to the gospel in some of the hardest to reach areas. Even in the western world, we see a growing hunger for spiritual renewal and revitalization. God is at work.
God is calling His people to something extraordinary. As part of that, the global ministry of Campus Crusade, in partnership with many others, will help start at least five million multiplying biblical churches and faith communities, covering every neighborhood and village in the entire world. We believe God is calling the body of Christ to do this by 2020.
