Doni Konbe, Ethiopia is 150 kilometers south east of the capitol, Addis Ababa. This region was known for worshipping witchdoctors and other gods. The name of the city means “killer” or “Unrighteous spirit.” The spirit of Doni Konbe does not like guests and would cause people to kill one another.
But now, the Kingdom of God is overtaking and casting out all other spirits. Many have changed and are coming to Christ one by one. When the witchdoctor came to the Lord, so did all his followers. So, the gospel is very powerful. The people used to worship witchcraft but are now serving the Lord in the local church. The hearts of the people and government officials are open because of what God is doing in the community.
