New Zealand

nnzBeyond our heart for missions, we have instilled that same passion in each of our four daughters, Rachel, Jessica, Monica and Audrey. Every summer one or more of them heads off on a short term mission trip, usually a few weeks in duration.

Rachel is about to take a great big step – a mission venture that will take her to New Zealand for two years with the Navigators.

Every Navigator’s passion is to help others know Christ and to make Him known. Through small-group Bible studies and life-on-life discipleship, they come alongside people and teach them to be Christ’s followers as they study and apply the Word of God to chart their lives. Then they train them to pass what they have learned on to others.

Through the NavMissions ministry, they advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations, serving alongside Navigator laborers of 69 other nationalities, in over 100 countries around the world.

Rachel is going to New Zealand because it where students from virtually every island in the South Pacific come to pursue their education – which means ministry in New Zealand impacts many, many people on many, many islands. The Pacifika Navigators outreach includes the Cook Islands, Fiji, Marshall Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, and the Solomon Islands to name a few.
