Hope for Easter

One of our partners is Emily, from Jesus Said Love. I spoke with her Friday. She’s planning to give out several hundred Magdalena DVD’s this Easter to women who work in the sex industry in the Dallas area. Not only does she want to put Magdalena in their Easter gift bags but she also plans to use the Magdalena Bible study for part of her monthly meetings with women.

I’m amazed and encouraged by Emily, who stepped out in faith to follow the Lord’s calling on her life. It’s a privilege to work with her! Pray for Emily and her team as they plan and implement this Easter outreach, that they would see hope spread in dark places.

I hope to form partnerships with many small non-profits, encouraging them to share the stories of hope and redemption with the women that they work with. Thank you for praying as I work to call almost a hundred of these organizations over the next few weeks.

Speaking of Hope, that’s my one word for the year. Have you heard of the My One Word challenge? You choose one word that can inspire you all year long. I love the simplicity of having just one word, rather than a long list of New Year’s resolutions. Visit the website and see for yourself
