Each Thanksgiving our family drives 11 hours to the Smokey Mountains near Asheville, NC. It has become a family tradition because it is a time to get away from the hectic life and enjoy the natural surroundings of woods, hills, small towns, apples, bakeries… well bakeries only loosely classify as natural.
With 2 daughters in college, it is getting harder to gather everyone together. So Jessica spent a few days in Missouri with the grandparents, and we held a family online video hangout.
