Last month, Amy and many Jesus Film Project staff gathered to celebrate some of the fantastic things they have seen God do through the ministry. One was completing the 2,200th language of “JESUS” into Bouna Kulango (Bouna Kulango people info).
A tiny percentage of the Bouna Kulango people profess to follow Christ, and the majority practice traditional ethnic religions. However, the “JESUS” film in Bouna gives the Kulango access to the gospel message in a visual medium.
One of the voice actors on this translation said: “When you are communicating with a person in the trade language … it is reaching their mind. When I am listening and speaking in my own language, it is reaching my heart.”
Please pray for our African staff and the other ministry organizations who will use this gospel tool to proclaim the good news of Jesus!
