A New Multiplying Generation

translate2Earlier this year the island of Samoa become the breeding ground of a new kind of JESUS film script adapter and recordist technician – national believers trained by partners.

This training was the third phase in a collaborative effort formally known as the Pacific Wa’a Partnership between YWAM, SIL/Wycliffe Bible Translators and Jesus Film Project, which aims to end Bible poverty in the Pacific beginning with 800 minority languages. The Partnership uses a breakthrough production process known as Single Voice Narration (SVN). After a successful phase two trial last year, the real test of this multiplying effort came in Samoa, where YWAM trained Pacific Islander believers.
